This rug was hand-knotted by artisans in the Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh, India — a region with over 500 years of rug-making heritage. Our partner workshop employs fair-trade practices, ensuring artisans receive living wages and access to healthcare and education.

Each Saffron Knot rug is signed by its maker, and a certificate of authenticity is included documenting the artisan, materials, and techniques used.
